Enjoying the springs (Sachiko)

[Pheonix]

Pheonix slid slowly into a spring.After settling in she rested her head on her arms.Sunshine was flying nearby chriping happily.She opened one eye and looked up at him.

[Sachiko Nanashi]

I walked into the springs, smiling slightly as the steam from them tickled my skin. I sighed. I hadn't had a decent bath in the hot springs since I got here.

I absently tucked a stray ebony hair ontp the bun that sat at the top of my head before leaning my head back so that it rested on a rock.

"Thank you, Takai," I mumbled, thanking my brother for allowing me the money to do this. I'd never been to a spring before and because it was a gift from Takai made it more special.

'He doesn't have enough money to do this stuff for me...'

I looked up as I heard a bird's chirping.

"Hello, bird," I greeted softly. As my eyes lowered I caught site of a second person.

'I wonder who she is...'

[Pheonix]

Pheonix smiled over at the unfamiliar girl before she whistled for Sunshine."Hey Sunshine get down here.You got a girl down here talkin' to ya!"she said before holding out her arm for him to perch on.Sunshine landed on her arm not long after and chirped at Sachiko.

[Sachiko Nanashi]

I blushed, silently hating myself for staring at the other girl.

'And in the springs too... I'm so rude...'

I shrank into the water a bit so that some of the stray strands of my raven hair that had fallen from the messy bun floated on top of the water.

After a moment I allowed myself a small smile.

"She's your bird then? She's very pretty," I said, my quiet voice louder than before but with more caution in it.

[Pheonix]

Pheonix laughed before correcting her,"Thank you but Sunshine is male.I'm Pheonix."she quirked her head at last part of the sentance and smirked,"And you are?"

[Sachiko Nanashi]

I blushed at my mistake. And at my not having introduced myself.

"I'm sorry. It's kind of hard to tell with birds. I'm Sachiko but most people call me Sachi. It's nice to meet you," I said, hating that my English accent but keeping a welcoming smile on my face.

[Pheonix]

"Likewise."Pheonix said before Sunshine perched next to Sachiko."He's not easy to offend.If he bothers you just tell him to go flying around for a bit."she said relaxing back again the russian in her accent fairly plain but not blatantly obvious.

[Sachiko Nanashi]

Sachiko smiled and reached out her hand to pet the bird's head then stopped and looked back at Pheonix.

"Is it safe to pet him? He won't be afraid and bite me will he?" I asked, not wanting to scare the poor creature.

[Pheonix]

"Nah.He's more people friendly than I am.Hence his name."Pheonix commented smiling over at the falcon before dunking her head in the water.When she resurfaced she smoothed over her black slightly blue hair.

[Sachiko Nanashi]

I smiled again.

"You don't seem unfriendly at all," I said to the girl as I reached out and ran the tips of my pale, and now slightly reddened by the warm water, fingers over Sunshine's soft, feathered head.

"You are pretty bird, Sunshine. Sorry about the gender mix up earlier. Sunshine isn't exactly the most masculine name in the world but it suits you perfectly," I told the bird, moving my hand to scratch under his chin.

[Pheonix]

Sunshine closed his eye slowly at the scratching under his chin."People just tell me I'm too boisterous and surly.Feh I personally don't much care."Pheonix commented before shrugging.

[Sachiko Nanashi]

I smiled at Sunshine before turning back to Pheonix.

"You don't seem too bad. It's really good that you don't care what other people think. People who do can't be happy because they're always trying to turn themselves into something that everyone else want," I said, feeling slightly stupid because I felt that I had to explain my reasoning.

[Pheonix]

Pheonix yawned and layed her head back.So tired..

[Sachiko Nanashi]

I smiled a bit before leaning back as well.

"Tired?" I asked, noting the yawn.

[Pheonix]

"Quite actually.I just flew in from Russia."Pheonix said looking over at the shorter girl with one eye open.
